Schwarzenbek, December 2, 2020 – The LMT Group has appointed Joachim Dittrich as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Fette Compacting and Member of the Management Board of the corporate group with effect from January 1, 2021.

Joachim Dittrich takes over management duties at Fette Compacting, which were led by Daniel Ehmans in an acting capacity. Together with Ehmans, who is CEO of the LMT Group and LMT Tools, Dittrich will also be responsible for the further strategic development of the LMT Group. “We are very pleased that with Joachim Dittrich we have been able to gain the services of a highly qualified and experienced manager for this role,” says Klaas Borchert, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the LMT Group.

Joachim Dittrich (56) is a mechanical engineer and has many years of experience in specialized engineering. Most recently he was Chief Representative of the Consumer Division at the Optima packaging group GmbH.

Dittrich, who was born in Hamburg, assumes the leadership role at Fette Compacting during a phase that offers many opportunities for the specialized mechanical engineering firm. The company’s tablet presses and capsule filling machines are used worldwide by companies in the pharmaceutical industry and manufacturers of food supplements. “Secure supply of medicines, increasing digitalization and sustainability are challenges and opportunities for a medium-sized enterprise like Fette Compacting,” explains Dittrich. “I look forward to working successfully with the experienced and committed team at Fette Compacting”.
